FRENCH TOILE

One of my favorite color combinations is red, black and white. I love the toile prints and so with this combination, ooooo la la! I used the Jumbo Cling stamp "Romantic Boarder" by Stampendous, "Black Soot" Distress Ink by Ranger to edge the bag and card. I found the paper at Micheal's. The accent flower is my first attempt at a fabric flower, in combination with a rolled paper rose. Wha La!

ABOUT ME

Welcome to my blog! This is my first attempt in the blog world and I'm excited and a little scared at the same time. I try to keep up with the technical pace, but it is a fast race pace and I'm at the point in my life where I'm trying to slow down a bit...lol. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. I love crafting and have crafted since I was a child. My latest endeavor for the last few years has been greeting cards. I started out collecting papers, embellishments, stencils, etc. for scrapbooking years ago, but never got around to it. When my daughter Tasha sent a few cards she made I was in love! Now, paper is an addiction for me, and if you are a paper craftier/artist you will know what I mean! At times I feel bad for my husband because I am so in love with paper..."ooooo, pretty, pretty, pretty!" and I will spend all day long into late hours of the night in my studio just creating away.
I hope you enjoy my blog and viewing what I love to do. I am just starting with my cards and a few other projects that I have started recently. I hope to evolve into giving instruction and tutorials, but for now, I am starting off slow. Haha, yaaa riiiight, I'll probably dive in!
