One of my favorite color combinations is red, black and white. I love the toile prints and so with this combination, ooooo la la! I used the Jumbo Cling stamp "Romantic Boarder" by Stampendous, "Black Soot" Distress Ink by Ranger to edge the bag and card. I found the paper at Micheal's. The accent flower is my first attempt at a fabric flower, in combination with a rolled paper rose. Wha La!

CAMEO
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set and think it's my favorite to date. I borrowed this idea from a card class that was taught by my friend Wendy Jordan on World Card Day using the JUMBO CLING CAMEO FRAME by Stampendous. I love that it is simple on the Kraft paper stamped in Ranger's Distress Ink, Vintage Photo, and just the flowers colored in white. I also tried a new technique called Encrusted Jewel. Using Antique gold embossing enamel, gold diamond dust, and a little bronze glitter. Simple elegance.
VINTAGE VICTORIAN
I was feeling Shabby Chic and ended up with what I know my daughter Tasha, would call "Grandma-ish." I just know it didn't come out with what I had in mind; it just sort of developed into what my hubby Bruce called, "Vintage Victorian." I really don't think this title is fitting either, but for now, that is what has stuck. I'm always up for suggestions!

LOVE ME A PEACOCK!
I've been wanting to do something with peacocks and their feathers. I love the colors and I think they are the most beautiful feathers of all the birds. I have a couple Dreamweaver Stencils with the peacock and feather; and a stamp of a peacock feather from Stampendous. I used a pearlescent embossing paste from Dreamweaver with the stencils and Stampendous' Blue Tinsel and Recollections' Blue Blaze glitter embossing powders with the stamp to create this set. I found that when I colored the embossing paste, the pearlescent came through the colors!

NATIVE NOTES
I have to first give thanks to my friend Wendy Jordon for naming this bag for me! She is a very talented craftier/artist and teacher. I love these feathers! This set features Southwestern colors, with different textures from various different techniques and of course I added the feathers and fibers!

Diva "Of Corsets Your Birthday" (WGBS-DIVA)
These are my favorite sets to date from the Women's line. They are the same idea, but with differences. The corset idea is not mine, but I did design my own. Thank you Debbie and Sandy, at my favorite place to be on Tuesdays; Memorylanescrapbook, LLC! You can visit them through the link here on my blog! For this set I used my Cricut for the shoes from the "Forever Young" Cartridge embellished with mini rolled rose. The stamps varied from Hampton Art, Hero Arts, Inkadinkado and more, found at Micheal's and Joanne's.
